Ngo Thi Thuy Duyen, visual artist

Born 1981 in Hoi An, Quang Nam, Viet Nam 
Jul 2006- Dec 2012 lives and works in Ho Chi Minh city.
Feb 2013 to present lives and works in Istanbul.


2006              - Graduated from Hue Fine Arts University, Hue, Vietnam.
2009- 2012    - Attending Master of Art in Ho Chi Minh city Fine Arts University, Vietnam.


2012          - Artists in Residence in Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

                  - Artist in residence in Taiwan in the project "South Country, the South of Country" which is an art collaboration between Zerostation, Vietnam and Outsiders Factory, Taiwan

2010          - Received grants of Young Artists Grants Program sponsored by the Melbourne City Council and supported by the Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City

2007          - Artists in Residence at HIVECAMP in Cheongju, Republic of Korea.


2011           - Solo exhibition performance “ Allergy” at Zero Station in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.

2007           - Solo Painting Exhibition “Departure”, Tu Do Art Gallery, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.


2013          - Artist talk and Performance art workshop for group of master students at Oldenburg  University in Germany.
2012           -  Artist talk at Howlspace, Tainan, Taiwan.

2009           -  Presentation on Vietnamese Performance Art at Zero One Design Center- Theater in Seoul.


2013          - “Path to nowhere” exhibition at Treasure Hill Artist Village, Taipei, Taiwan.
                  - “Retour du Vietnam 1” at Espace d’Art Contemporain “L’Atelier Blanc” in Villefranche de Rouergue, France.
